WIAW: Pinterest Party!

Happy What I Ate Wednesday, fellow foodies! As I mentioned in my last post, this past Sunday I had the opportunity to participate in my first Pinterest Party.

What is a Pinterest Party you ask? Good question! Basically, all guests must bring a recipe and craft found on Pinterest so we can nom and be creative together!

Here are the adorable dishes four crafty girls were able to create.

Appetizer by Hannah

Pumpkin Dip, inside of an ACTUAL PUMPKIN.

Main Course by Paige

Sweet Potato and Cannellini Bean Burgers topped with avocado and spicy mustard.

Dessert by Me

Nutella S'mores Tarts, which were insanely easy to make and tasted awesome!

Recipe:
1 package mini graham cracker crusts
1/2 cup Nutella
2 cups light whipped cream
Mini marshmallows (amount dependent on personal taste!)

Instructions:
Fold Nutella and whipped cream until mixed, forming a simple mousse. Refrigerate for at least one hour
Spoon Nutella mixture into graham cracker crusts
Sprinkle marshmallows onto baking sheet, toast until browned at 400° (should only take a few minutes)
Spread gooey concoction over tart
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes

Snack To-Go by Georgie

And my favorite craft? Hannah brought mason jars and a glitter/modge podge concoction, which allowed us to make glittery mason jars! I use mason jars for everything: drinking, eating, flowers, and knickknacks, so this was perfect for me.

Glittery Mason Jar filled with my Farmer's Market flowers- I dried them out because I loved them so much!

The Pinterest Party was a smashing success; it went so well that we're trying to hold one a month! I can't wait to see what new recipes and crafts I discover in the coming months.

Happy eating, all!
